Our Story
Dylan and Victoria have a lot in common: Profession and employer (they're both sports writers for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette), the ability to quote every line from "Fever Pitch," a love of books and niche podcasts, and identical SAT scores (redacted). Just not college football fandom.
That became clear the first time they met in May 2018, when a future co-worker introduced Victoria, a Notre Dame graduate, to Dylan, noting that he is a Michigan fan. Her first words to him were, "Oh, I'm sorry!"
But Michigan has now beaten Ohio State three years in a row, and these two are engaged, so life is looking up. They are now focused on building a home together in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and trying to get their work done before 2 a.m. on any given day.
